Wine and Nuts Fest

Historically, Pogradec has been engaged in cultivating vineyards and various grape varieties, producing high-quality raki and wine with advanced technology. The citizens of Pogradec have skillfully and artisanally produced a variety of wines in their home cellars, turning them into wine cellars. This festival highlights the ancient tradition of cultivating and processing grapes. Today, the city prioritizes tourism development and the recognition of tourist values even in the winter season, with marvelous snow landscapes, the lake stirred by waves, and the recognition of traditional Pogradec values. Pogradec wine has been recognized as a product with great characteristics and values ​​to symbolize our city to local and foreign tourists. Now, another element has been added to this festival, such as chestnuts, which characterize our city in its crown. As part of this festival, there is a competition for the best family wine in the Municipality of Pogradec, as well as a competition in the field of poetry and painting where Wine and Chestnuts will be at the center.
